Marcard, Stein & Co offers relevant facility services for your EU-UCITS and for EU-AIF in order to fully comply with the legal requirements set out in Sec. 306a Investment Code (Kapitalanlagegesetzbuch - KAGB), transposing Article 92 of the Directive (EU) 2019/1160 with regard to cross-border distribution of collective investment undertakings into German law.
According to the provisions of this regulation, the fund company is required to maintain facilities that are capable to perform, inter alia, the following tasks in German language and electronically:
- process subscription, payment, conversion and redemption orders of investors;
- provide investors with information on how orders referred can be made and how redemption proceeds are paid;
- facilitate the access to procedures and arrangements relating to the investors' exercise of their rights (complaints support);
- make the information and documents required available to investors, for the purposes of inspection and obtaining copies thereof;
- provide investors with information relevant to the tasks that the facilities perform in a durable medium; and
- act as a contact point for communicating with the BaFin
